2009-2010 English Supplies

After careful consideration, I have whittled down the supplies necessary for our class to the bare minimum. As a parent of two high school freshman and one college freshman, I can appreciate the need to maximize the minimum when it comes to school supplies.

Here are the supplies which I would like for all students to have on the second day of classes. I will also be reviewing this with the class at our first meeting:

One 1 1/2" Binder w/Five Dividers
4" x 6" Index Cards
Highlighter
Flash drive (if you already have one for school use do NOT buy one especially for our class!)
Post-It Notes
One 2 Pocket Portfolio (the less expensive, the better--although I, too, am a fan of Twilight and Puppies, do not feel obligated to spend $2 on a folder to "represent!")
Oodles of Loose-leaf paper
Enjoy the remainder of your recess!

Read Up and Write On!
